OET is an R&D SME founded in 2012. OET is a global leader in the field of Organic and Printed Electronics (OEs), with over 30 years of experience in Thin Films and 18 years in OEs, employing highly specialized personnel (PhDs 40%, MSc 60%) in this field. It specializes in the production of Printed Organic Photovoltaics (OPV), Organic Light Emitting Diodes (OLEDs), Printed RFID/NFC Antennas, and BIO/Sensors, using specialized Roll-to-Roll (R2R) printing techniques. It holds 5 Patents and maintains Intellectual Property Rights in in-situ, in-line & real-time optical metrology in vacuum and air/atmosphere systems, as well as related In-Line Laser processes & OPV applications. It’s noteworthy that in 2018, OET held the global “record” for the efficiency of fully printed OPV cells at 7.4%. OET has participated in 9 Research programs, European and National, securing a strong profile in Research, Development, and Innovation fields. It maintains high expertise in the design, development, and construction of automated Quality Control Platforms, applying real-time decision-making processes in R2R industrial printing systems and pilot production lines under vacuum conditions. Additionally, it has extensive experience in the development and design of Pilot Production Lines, inkjet R2R printers, metrology & laser systems, as well as in the printing of large-scale carbon nanotubes and transparent electrodes on plastic substrates. OET is a member and co-founder of the Hellenic Association of Organic and Printed Electronics Companies HOPE-A (www.hope-a.com), which has signed 6 cooperation agreements with Organic Electronics associations: Germany (OES – Organic Electronics Saxony) and COPT.NRW, France – AFELIM, Japan – JAPEC, Korea – KOPEA, and China – IAPE.


HOPE-A consists of 30 members and interacts with more than 1,500 companies, industries, and academia in the field of OEs. Additionally, it is a member of the global Nano-Net Research and Innovation Network (www.nano-net.gr), which consists of 600 individual members and over 1,200 affiliate members from the fields of Nanosciences & Nanotechnologies.

The Porto Palace Hotel & Conference Center is a unique accommodation choice in Thessaloniki. Housed in a historic building from 1913, the Porto Palace Hotel maintains its industrial architecture. The Porto Palace Hotel in Thessaloniki hosts major business events, local or international conferences, as well as social events (wedding receptions, baptisms, anniversary dinners, etc.). It features 5 fully equipped meeting rooms, 5 large conference halls, and a roof garden overlooking the Thermaic Gulf. The Porto Palace Hotel is the only one in Thessaloniki capable of hosting a meeting for 2,500 people. The historic Grand Pietra hall is the largest conference hall in Northern Greece.

The technical department of SHELTER S.A. has the capability to design and develop new products using 3D design programs (Autodesk's Invertor and Advance Steel) with high- quality standards. With eighteen years of experience, the company produces customized shelters tailored to the needs of each client. The company's quality assurance system is certified according to EN ISO 9001:2015, EN ISO 14001:2015, and its products have CE certification according to the EN1090 standard.

  • Over 55 E-houses for MYTILINEOS S.A., used in energy production stations in DENIZLI TURKEY, DEIR-ALI SYRIA, SAMRA JORDAN, HASSI R'MELL ALGERIA, AMANDI GHANA and BRIDGE GHANA.
  • 46 shelters for MYTILINEOS S.A., for mobile energy production stations (Mobile Sub Stations) in ALGERIA and GHANA.
  • E-houses for ABB S.A. for energy production stations in VASILIKO CYPRUS and PTOLEMAIDA GREECE: 15 shelters.
  • BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems) for METKA EGN in Lockleaze, Little Brooke, Rufford, Round Ponds, and Wolverhampton: 12 energy storage shelters
  • BESS for ABB NV in energy storage shelters in Liverpool, UK: 2 energy storage shelters
  • BESS for BOSCH GmbH for energy storage in GERMANY: 3 energy storage shelters
